Legal Aid NL is proud to provide an innovative and collaborative legal aid system that responds to the needs of low-income persons within our communities. Employees of Legal Aid NL are covered under the Provincial Government Pension and Health Plans, optional Dental and Disability Plans are also available.
Staff based in Labrador receive a Northern Allowance and a Northern Travel Allowance, additionally Staff Solicitors based in Labrador are eligible for up to a $25,000 annual salary incentive.
Staff Solicitor Salary Rates range from $82,061 – $158,719 annually (effective July 1, 2025).
